On Saturday morning 8/8/2026 I started my day about to go get some lumber for my new house! I jumped into my car and made it to the end of the block when I realized that my brake went out and then I pulled over and realized that my brake line ruptured!! I called a few local shops and I was floored by the quotes to repair the brake line !! 1 shop quoted me an approximate price of $1,800.00 the other shop quoted an approximate price of about $1,500.00!! So I took a risk driving with no brakes and found AMERICAN TIRE &AUTO!! THANK YOU !! JESUS!! I FIRST MUST SAY THIS IS SOMETHING I COULD'VE FIXED MYSELF BUT NONE OF MY TOOLS ARE AT MY NEW HOUSE YET! I PULLED INTO AMERICAN TIRE &AUTO AND I MET JASON HE WAS POLITE AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL! HE INSPECTED MY BRAKE LINE AND FOUND THE LEAK WITHIN MINUTES!! AND QUOTED ME $150.00 I WAS SHOCK BY HIS COMPLETE HONESTY AND BUDGET FRIENDLY PRICE FOR THE REPAIR!! SO I FIGURED SINCE MY CAR IS IN THE SHOP AND MY DAY RUINED AND MY PLANS CANCELED DUE TO THE REPAIR ON MY CAR! I THEN ASKED FOR A QUOTE FOR A NEW FLEX PIPE FOR MY EXHAUST!? JASON QUOTED $200.00 IN WHICH I WAS SHOCKED AGAIN DUE TO I HAVE HAD PREVIOUSLY GOT QUOTES FOR A NEW FLEX PIPE AND AGAI

If I could give this group 10 stars, I would! My family and I were traveling though Rockford on our way to Michigan from Minnesota. Our alternator went out and we were stuck on thr side of the road. Being we were coming through on a Saturday afternoon, we didnt have high hopes we were going to make it to our destination anytime soon. As luck would have it, the tow truck companies knew these guys were open late and sent us here. The woman at the desk was managing about as much as one could (getting hit on but a customer, phone ringing, taking down informstion, buying parts over the phone and computer, communicating all the things to the shop, workers and customers...ect) with great easy, efficiency and directness. There were lots of situations going on and we were just one of them. She helped us make arrangements for some of our stuff that was on top of our car as well. Things were happening and everyone was working hard and doing their best. But...within 6 hours of getting there, they got us in, the alternator out (which they had issues with) and a new one in, and got us on thr road. And... way under the cost we were thinking this was going to cost us. I was sure it was going t

I got a flat tire at about 8 pm last night, AAA told me about this place and told me they were open till 12, so i drove there at about 9pm, not only did they have a tire for me but got it done fast and at a great price. But they also put the tire on the back instead of the front as i was to scared to ask them to do that. And they put my spare back in the correct compartment. Id give a 10 star if i could.. Great Place 4 sure.. Thanks guys
